Icon Star Allu Arjun and actress Nivetha Thomas share a common element. They both won Best Actor awards at the maiden edition of the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards. Bunny won the Best Actor (Male) for his terrific performance in Pushpa 2: The Rule. Nivetha won the Best Actor (Female) for her nuanced performance in 35: Chinna Katha Kaadu. Both films were released in theatres in 2024.
Days after the star-studded TGFA event in Hyderabad, Nivetha digitally shared her selfie moment with the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo actor. Sharing the adorable pic, Nivetha wrote the names of their characters (Saraswathi and Pushpa Raj) in the two movies.

Nivetha is a recipient of another state award: the Kerala State Film Award in the Best Child Artist category for her performance in Veruthe Oru Bharya. She won a Filmfare Award for her performance in Nani’s Ninnu Kori in 2018. Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab gave her Best Supporting Actress – Telugu award South Indian International Movie Awards in 2022.
Nani’s Gentleman, Brochevarevarura, 118, Saakini Daakini and V are among her popular appearances in Telugu.
