Legendary actress Tabu started her career as an actress in the Telugu film industry with Coolie No. 1 (1991,) opposite Venkatesh Daggubati. If reports are to be believed, the veteran actress is all set to star opposite Venkatesh, after a hiatus of 28 years, in the official Telugu remake of De De Pyaar De, which was a roaring hit in Hindi.
In the original version of the movie, Tabu played the role of a housewife who makes life difficult for her husband, played by Ajay Devgn, with her attitude.
Tabu has always been game for interesting roles, be it in any language. Of course, Telugu is special to her always as she considers it home. It might be noted, she is a part of Allu Arjun’s 19th (untitled) movie, directed by Trivikram Srinivas.
It will be a laugh riot for sure if Tabu reprises her role alongside Venkatesh Daggubati in the Telugu version of De De Pyaar De, as both have impeccable comic timing.
