It is a known fact that Akkineni Nagarjuna has a pivotal role in Rajinikanth’s Coolie. Everyone has been made to think that it is a special role.
In his latest interview, Nag has revealed that he plays a charming villain in the movie. Writer-director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s narration hooked him so much that he couldn’t say no to playing the antagonist character. The Vikram and Kaidhi director was unsure that Nag would accept the negative character. “It was a liberating experience to play the part,” Nag told The Hollywood Reporter.
While Coolie will hit the screens on August 14th, Nag will be seen in Sekhar Kammula’s Kuberaa this June 20th.
Both Coolie and Kuberaa feature Nag in roles his fans are excited to watch him in.
Recently, Nagarjuna shared a personal note after his son, Akhil, got married. “With immense joy, Amala and I are delighted to share that our dear son has married his beloved Zainab in a beautiful ceremony (3:35 am) at our home, where our hearts belong. We watched a dream come true surrounded by love, laughter, and those dearest to us. We seek your blessings as they begin this new journey together,” the Bangarraju actor wrote.
