#Suriya46 was launched today by Sithara Entertainments. This Telugu-Tamil bilingual project is directed by Venky Atluri who reunites with star producer S Naga Vamsi after delivering two back-to-back successes (read SIR and Lucky Baskhar).
Mamitha Baiju, who was catapulted to fame by the Malayalam blockbuster Premalu, is the female lead. Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon, who was famously cast in KGF, is playing a pivotal role. Radhika Sarathkumar, too, has been named.

The launch event today was attended by Trivikram Srinivas.
GV Prakash Kumar is back as the music director. The talented composer’s music for Venky Atluri’s two previous hits is admired. The film’s technical team includes Nimish Ravi for cinematography, National Award-winner Navin Nooli for editing, and Banglan for production design. Also produced by Fortune Four Cinemas, the film is presented by Srikara Studios.
The film will commence its shoot later this month. The makers plan to release it in theatres for Summer 2026.
Actor Suriya was most recently seen in a nuanced role in Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Sithara Entertainments took care of its release in the Telugu States.
