Indian cinema in general is undergoing a massive shift in the way content is made and delivered to a wider audience. The sudden surge of OTT platforms made world class content easily available at the comfort of our homes. Realising its potential, many successful filmmakers and also big stars have started delivering some refreshing content on various OTT platforms lately. One such anthology web series is Navarasa, crafted by the Maestro director Mani Ratnam and Jayendra.
Ever since there was talk of an original web series being planned with a wide range of talents across Tamil film industry, the audience have been eagerly waiting for any update. As and when the cast was revealed and the directors along with noted technicians were announced, the expectations soared sky high. The recently released teaser showing the ensemble cast showcasing the nine emotions referred to as the Navarasas only left the audiences to expect great things from the webseries. In the latest, the makers released the trailer of Navarasa today and it sure promises to be a worthwhile watch. Check out the trailer below:

Navarasa is an anthology web series with an ensemble cast of Suriya, Siddharth, Vijay Sethupathi, Parvathy, Revathi, Arvind Swami to name a few and is slated to release on 6th August on the OTT platform Netflix. On the other hand, Suriya is busy with Etharkkum Thunindhavan and Jai Bhim. Etharkkum Thunindhavan is directed by Pandiraj and Jai Bhim is directed by TJ Gnanavel. Siddharth is currently making his comeback to Telugu film industry after a 8 year hiatus with Maha Samudram. Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, Maha Samudram also stars Sharwanand, Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Emmanuel in the lead roles. Vijay Sethupathi is currently filming for the movie Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal opposite Samantha Akkineni and Nayanthara.
