Jatadhara, Sudheer Babu’s pan-Indian movie, went on the floors in mid-February. Touted to be a blend of “history, myth, and science into a thrilling narrative”, the film’s pre-production entailed detailed planning.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the makers of Jatadhara unveiled a new character intro poster. Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha will be essaying an author-backed character that is going to be a “beacon of strength and power” in the scheme of the film’s epic-scale story. Her character is going to carry so much weight and significance in the story.

Umesh KR Bansal, the CEO of Zee Studios, is producing this supernatural thriller in collaboration with Prerna Arora. Producers Shivin Narang, Rajiv Agarwal, Arvind Agarwal, Nikhil Nanda, and Monesh Manghnani are also associated with the project.
Sonakshi Sinha, known for her 2010 debut movie Dabangg, was most recently seen in the web series Heeramandi (directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali). Also known for her recent appearances like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Bhuj: The Pride of India, her pre-pandemic films include Dabangg 3 and Mission Mangal, among others.
Sudheer Babu will be seen in a macho avatar in Jatadhara.
