Celebrated director SS Rajamouli and his son SS Karthikeya (who has been a Line Producer, 2nd Unit Director) have made surprise appearances in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the popular video game series. Japanese creator Hideo Kojima has cast them as The Adventurer and The Adventurer’s Son.
To be released worldwide on June 26th on PlayStation 5, the game’s first part was defined as “genre-defying”. Set in a fragmented America where “society is shattered by a cataclysmic event, the game explores the human need for connection in the face of extreme isolation”.
SS Karthikeya has been a Line Producer, who has worked on RRR. His role often involves managing production logistics, planning, and scheduling, acting as a bridge between the actors and the director. He has also worked as a second unit director on some of Rajamouli’s projects. As a distributor, he has distributed the Malayalam film Premalu in Telugu.
SS Rajamouli is currently worked on SSMB29, Mahesh Babu’s 29th movie. Its schedule in Kenya is awaited. The film is yet to lock its release date.
