Dhee, which was originally released in theatres in 2007, is up for a theatrical re-release. The action comedy film, starring Manchu Vishnu in the lead and directed by Srinu Vaitla, will hit the screens all over again on March 28th.
Produced by Siri Venkateswara Films, the film co-stars Genelia D’Souza, Srihari and Brahmanandam. With the story and dialogues written by Kona Venkat, Dhee had Gopi Mohan functioning as an Additional Writer.

Chandra Mohan, Akash, Supreeth, Ajay, Sunil and others feature in different roles. Dhee secured two Nandi Awards. Best Screenplay Writer (Sreenu Vaitla) and Best Fight Master (the Ram-Lakshman duo) won Nandis.
With cinematography by Prasad Murella, Dhee had music by Chakri. The editing was by Marthand K Venkatesh.
Kannappa is Manchu Vishnu‘s next first-time theatrical release. Prabhas has a cameo in it. Kajal Aggarwal’s Parvathi look and Akshay Kumar’s Lord Shiva look have been unveiled. Kannappa is one of the most ambitious movies in the making. Mollywood legend Mohanlal, Kollywood actor Sarath Kumar, Arpit Ranka, and Preity Mukundhan will also be seen. The film will hit the screens on April 25th, 2025.
