Spirit, starring Prabhas in the role of an intense cop, will commence its shoot in April or May this year. The movie was supposed to go on the floors in December 2024 but it couldn’t.
In an interview last year, producer Bhushan Kumar said that the plan was to release the movie in mid 2026. There is no reason to believe that the delayed production timeline is going to result in the postponement of the release of Spirit in theatres. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been laying out a solid pre-production plan. So, production will be smooth. On Diwali last year, music director Harshavardhan Rameshwar revealed an update regarding the music sittings of the pan-Indian movie. He said that two songs had been readied.
Prabhas’ another major movie, Salaar 2, will commence its shoot next year. Director Prashanth Neel is going to complete Jr NTR’s film first.
Prabhas’ next theatrical release is The Raja Saab, to be released in the second half of this year. The romantic horror comedy also features Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, and Malavika Mohanan. It is helmed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory.
