Amaran, a multilingual biographical action film starring Sivakarthikeyan, is slated to hit theaters on October 31st for Diwali. Amaran written and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, and will portay Sivakarthikeyan in a dynamic role. The makers have started promoting Amaran, and an exciting news was revealed by the team today.
Amaran is produced by Ulaganayagan/ Universal Star Kamal Hassan, Mr. R. Mahendran, and Sony Pictures International Productions, and co-produced by God Bless Entertainment.
It is announced that the theatrical rights to Amaran for AP and TS were purchased by actor Nithiin’s father, Sudhakar Reddy, and his sister, Nikhitha Reddy, under the name of Sreshth Movies. After the phenomenal hit of Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram, this is Sreshth Movies’ second partnership with Kamal Haasan’s production company.
To play an Indian army soldier, Siva Karthikeyan has taken on an extremely toned look, which includes a new hairstyle and a cropped beard. The most talented- Sai Pallavi as the female lead opposite Sivakarthikeyan in Amaran. Renowned music director GV Prakash is the composer of this film’s soundtracks.
Amaran is based on the “Major Varadharajan” chapter in Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s book “India’s Most Fearless.”
