Actor Siddu Jonnalagadda has returned Rs 4.75 crore, half his remuneration for JACK: Konchem Crack, to producer BVSN Prasad of SVCC. In April this year, the film incurred losses owing to its below-par performance at the BO. “This heartwarming gesture reflects his understanding of market dynamics and commitment to ethical filmmaking,” an industry narrative goes.
The Bommarillu Baskhar directorial has been streaming on Netflix in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Starring Vaishnavi Chaitanya as the female lead, JACK’s behind-the-screens talents include Achu Rajamani, Suresh Bobbili, and Sam CS (background score).
Siddu Jonnalagadda’s next theatrical outing is Telusu Kada. The romantic entertainer will be released in theatres on October 17th. Sharing the update earlier this week, People Media Factory wrote, “Two times the fun. Two times the chaos. And an infinite loop of love. Bringing the celebration early this Diwali.” Neeraja Kona is wielding the megaphone. Srinidhi Shetty and Raashi Khanna join the DJ Tillu actor as heroines. Its music is by Thaman. Siddu is expected to deliver a solid hit with Telusu Kada, whose premise appears to be Gen Z-friendly.
