Siddhu Jonnalagadda was a rising talent in the Telugu film industry five years ago. Krishna and His Leela (2020) would have been a sure-shot theatrical hit had it not skipped theatres due to the pandemic at that time. It opened to excellent reviews upon its Netflix release. Later, it has streamed on Aha as well.
Co-starring Shraddha Srinath, Shalini Vadnikatti and Seerat Kapoor as the female leads, the film is now going to be released as a Valentine’s Day gift. On February 14th, the coming-of-age rom-com will be released as It’s Complicated.

Sri Charan Pakala is the film’s music director. In an interview, director Ravikanth Perepu spoke about the male lead. The film came with the tagline: ‘Based on true rumours’. :It was actually (producer) Rana Daggubati’s idea to add the tagline to the title because these are what people gossip about on a daily basis. Whatever people know of stories like that of Krishna And His Leela are just rumours as nobody knows the truth but in most of the cases it is true one person may end up liking two people at the same time. Like they say rumours are based on some kind of truth.”
