Regina Cassandra is one of the most popular actresses in South Indian cinema. The actress is well known in both Telugu and Tamil cinema. While she started out with commercial movies, Regina later established herself as a capable actress by essaying challenging roles.
Regina Cassandra is all set to entertain with the upcoming movie Nene Naa. Makers released an intriguing first look of Regina Cassandra from the movie. Regina is essaying the role of an archaeologist. Major portions of the movie have been shot in Courtallam in Tamil Nadu. The movie is written and directed by Caarthick Raju. The director said “Nene Naa will endow audiences with a new-fangled theatrical experience for its visuals, mystery-driven plot with horror elements and lots of humour as well (sic.)”
Nene Naa stars Regina Cassandra in the main role, while Vennela Kishore, Thagubothu Ramesh, Jaya Prakash, Ravi Raja and Akshara Gowda feature in supporting roles. Nene Naa is produced by Raj Shekar Varma under the banner Apple Tree Studios. Music is composed by Sam CS. Nene Naa is a bilingual movie and will be released in both Telugu and Tamil languages. Regina Cassandra is also working on the Telugu remake of the South Korean action comedy Midnight Runners. The movie also stars Nivetha Thomas and is directed by Sudheer Varma.
