Remarkable Film & Media Titan Cherukuri Ramoji Rao Garu, aged 87, passed away in the wee hours today. This unfortunate news has shocked the entire country, especially the Telugu film industry.
It has been reported that on June 5, Ramoji Rao was taken to the Star Hospitals in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad, due to a high blood pressure episode and dyspnea. His health worsened and at 4:50 am on Saturday, he passed away in the intensive care unit (ICU) with a stent placed in his heart and on a ventilator. A few years ago, Ramoji Rao overcame colon cancer with great success.
Ramoji Rao’s path serves as an inspiration to millions of people worldwide. He is comparable to an emperor, having founded several well-known companies, including Ramoji Film City, the biggest theme park and film studio in the world. Dolphin Group of Hotels, Ramadevi Public School, Priya Foods, Kalanjali, Ushakiran Movies, Mayuri Film Distributors, Eenadu Newspaper, ETV Network, and Margadarsi Chit Fund.
