Shaakuntalam Movie Synopsis:
Shaakuntalam is Samantha’s upcoming pan-Indian film, in which the actress plays the role of Shakuntala from the great Indian play Shakuntala, written by Kalidasa. The film is set to be released for Mahasivaratri on February 17. Gunasekhar, the writer and director of the film, presented Samantha in the most beautiful way ever. The trailer for Shaakuntalam is very impressive. Even the first single, Mallika Mallika, has won the hearts of music lovers. The makers of the film have now released the second single, titled Yelelo Yelelo.

Shaakuntalam is written and directed by Gunasekhar. Neelima Guna produced the film under the banner of Gunaa Teamworks. Dil Raju is presenting the film under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Dev Mohan, Prakash Raj, Mohan Babu, Gautami and Allu Arha played other important roles in the film. Mani Sharma composed the music. Sekhar V Joseph is the cinematographer and Prawin Pudi is the editor. Shaakuntalam is going to be released in multiple languages worldwide in theatres on February 17.
