Pushpa 2: The Rule has hit the one-thousand crore rupee mark at the box office. And this is the fastest any Indian film has ever achieved. The worldwide, across-the-board, multi-lingual blockbuster performance of the movie begins a new chapter in the career of Icon Star Allu Arjun and director Sukumar.
The film was released in theatres, on more than 1200 screens, on December 5. It took all of just six days for it to achieve the Rs 1000 Cr (Gross) mark.
By the end of the fifth day, the Allu Arjun-starrer grossed Rs 922 Cr. “A record breaking film in Indian Cinema – the fastest to cross the 900 Cr milestone,” Mythri Movie Makers said.
The film’s Hindi version netted Rs 375 Cr in six days. “Another sensational day (Day 6) for our movie at the box office with a Nett of Rs 36 Cr in Hindi on Tuesday. Fastest to hit Rs 375 Cr NETT mark in Hindi in just 6 days,” the makers added.
The buzz is that Allu Arjun will be visiting a couple of foreign cities to thank the audience for the stellar response. In North America, Pushpa 2 has already grossed more than ten million dollars.
