Ananya Nagalla is the latest acting talent to be onboarded by director Rohith KP for his pan-Indian action thriller starring Sai Dharam Tej in the lead. “A multi-talented actress who effortlessly transitions between diverse roles,” Primeshow Entertainment wrote on social media, making the announcement today. The makers described Ananya as a “bundle of talent”.
Pottel is the latest theatrical release in which Ananya plays a leading role. She made her film debut in 2019 with Mallesham, and in the five years since, she has done a number of movies. Her filmography includes notable projects like Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab, Play Back, Malli Pelli, Anveshi, Tantra, Darling, as well as appearances in Shaakuntalam (starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu) and Urvasivo Rakshasivo (starring Allu Sirish).

SDT18 is an important film for Ananya. Ajaneesh Loknath is the film’s music director. Aishwarya Lekshmi stars opposite the hero. Vetri Palanisamy is the cinematographer. Jagapathi Babu, Sai Kumar and Srikanth are are playing different roles in this untitled movie.
Touted to be a high-octane, period-action drama, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
