Sarkaru Vaari Paata was released on 12th May and is getting an immense response from the Telugu audience. The film has filled the hunger and thirst of the superstar Mahesh Babu fans who are waiting for a perfect mass entertainer from their hero. Also, the film equally satisfied the other regular Telugu audience who have been waiting for a perfect commercial entertainer this summer. Credit goes to Parasuram for giving such a blockbuster film to the audience. The movie has many highlights which impressed the audience a lot and here are a few among them.
Highlights:
The director Parasuram had his foot on the pedal of the plot right from the very beginning of the film. He opened the film with a backstory showcasing Mahesh Babu’s childhood. This laid the foundation for building the character and the lead character. Also, Parasuram defined the title Sarkaru Vaari Paata in a most understandable way. The dialogue, “A man with no debts is strong and a man who collects the debts in time is stronger,” sets the mood of the film.
Mahesh’s introduction as the hero is quite commercial, but what attracts the audience here is the depth of the character. Parasuram excels in that. He slowly injects the character into our minds and makes us connected to the character till the end. The dialogue, “To lend money to someone, conduct and character are the top qualities I check firstly,” delivered by Mahesh defines his character.
The entire love episode between the lead pair Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh is one of the most attractive elements of the film. The chemistry of the lead pair looks so perfect. Mahesh looks ultra-stylish and handsome. Keerthy is too gorgeous. The characters of Mahesh and Keerthy were designed completely in contrast with each other. This makes the audience much more excited to watch out for the relationship between them.
The face-off between Mahesh and Samuthirakani is so intense. Just like Mahesh and Keerthy, Mahesh and Samuthirakani are also in contrast with each other. The scenes when Mahesh and Samuthirakani go against each other are interesting to watch. Their conversations and actions are worth watching.
Tanikella Bharani’s episode adds some emotional weightage to the film. Parasuram built this character from a middle-class man’s point of view which will be connected to a larger set audience. “Everyone should have fear and responsibility towards money and debts”.
The beach fight and the climax fight are composed very well. It adds weight to the commerciality of the film. Mahesh’s attitude can be seen in the fight scenes.
The interval block is truly a banger. With a little twist and heavy intensity from the superstar, the interval block turns out to be a special attraction. It sets the perfect pace for the upcoming plot in the second half of the film.
Nadhiya’s character is very well written and infused in the film by connecting her to the backstory of Mahesh and establishing the conflict with Samuthirakani in the present.
Parasuram exposed his brilliant mark of writing by exposing and discussing a few exciting elements including bank scams, money, loans, interests, rule of corporates, etc. The point of exposing the 13 lakh crores scam done by corporates and politicians is thought-provoking. Also, the dialogues delivered by Mahesh Babu in the bank episode, comparing banks to the temples is a sign of depth in Parasuram’s writing.
The episode between Mahesh, Keerthy, and Subbaraj provides unlimited entertainment. This whole episode is completely hilarious and balances the seriously plot-driven second half with the entertainment.
The revolutionary moments featuring the common man versus corporates and the Boycott Banks moments are picturized so well and make the protagonist Mahesh charge much towards his goal.
Thaman’s background score uplifted the film’s commerciality. Along with the score, Thaman gave a blockbuster album too. All the songs are suited well in the film. Kalaavathi and Ma Ma Mahesha are special among them.
Ma Ma Mahesha is the best highlight of the entire film. Mahesh’s energy in the song is unmatchable. Credits to the choreographer Sekhar. The song Ma Ma Mahesha is enough to prove that our mass icon Mahesh is back.
