Natural Star Nani, who ascended to fame with feel-good movies like Ashta Chamma, Eega, Ala Modalaindi, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, and many more, has given back-to-back hits with DASARA & HI NANNA recently. With his most-hyped upcoming movie Saripodhaa Sanivaaram releasing on August 29, 2024, the buzz surrounding the movie has multiplied.
Nani has been exclusively promoting Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, interacting with media, and involving in off-screen promotions as well. In an exclusive conversation with Telugu Film Nagar, Nani discusses the film in some intriguing ways.
On being asked about what was the exact factor that impressed him to sign Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, Nani said, “Saipodhaa Sanivaaram is all about ‘Controlled Anger’. I am so impressed with the core concept, which is the reason I accepted to act in this movie”.
Regarding controlling his anger in real life, Nani remarked, “I don’t get angry very much. I maintain my cool in almost every part of my life. When I learn that someone close to me has done something heinous against me, I am upset. I don’t really do much at that point either—I just get upset,” Nani remarked.
Nani explained further, “It also annoys me on the movie sets, if repeatedly things are going wrong, and people do not take it seriously”.
“My mom annoys me. I become really upset when she doesn’t take good care of her health. She always takes on challenging things and is constantly on the go, even when she travels. This enrages me,” Nani continued.
Speaking of his director Vivek Athreya, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’s director, Nani said, “I love how Vivek approaches his core concept. His story looks simple but is layered. I love this aspect of his movie making”.
Nani showered praises on his co-actors SJ Suryah and Priyanka Mohan, describing them as very talented artists.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram stars Nani and Priyanka Mohan as the lead pair, while it has SJ Suryah as the baddie. Murali Mohan, Sai Kumar, Ajay Gosh, and others play important parts. Jakes Bejoy has composed the music for this movie, which is produced by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainments.
