Sankranthiki Vasthunam has minted Rs 230 Cr gross in 9 days. The family entertainer with a crime element was released in theatres on January 14th.

Venkatesh, speaking to the media today, said that the movie’s vibe was magical on set. “After the first schedule, we realized something special was happening. I could feel that energy. I carried that energy to promotions as well. The meter was constantly going up. Everything happened effortlessly, including improves and promotions,” the actor said.
Bulli Raju, played by Revanth Bhimala, was defended. “Through the character, I aimed at telling people that OTT shows can spoil your child. Jandhyala garu tried something like this in his filmography,” the director said. The actor-director duo also credited music director Bheems Ceciroleo for contributing to the humongous hit status of the movie.
