Released in theatres on January 14, so far, the movie has grossed Rs 303 Cr worldwide. It is the biggest industry hit among regional (Telugu-only) films.

The film’s distributors recently held a ‘Gratitude Meet’ in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, producer Dil Raju said, “Sankranthiki Vasthunam is a sixer of a movie made in just 72 working days. This movie has taught us that our banner should not hanker after combinations but go by our old ways of believing in the strength of the subject. Our banner has made six movies with Anil Ravipudi. Every time, he has given us zero stress. I thank Venkatesh garu. As the son of a producer, he knows the value of a producer. He has always been extremely supportive. We have made four movies with him.”
The comedy entertainer co-stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sai Kumar, Upendra Limaye and others.
