S.S Rajamouli is currently busy filming his next project RRR, which has a massive star cast consisting of actors from both Bollywood and Tollywood. RRR is a fictional retelling of the lives of Indian freedom activists, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju. Ram Charan and Jr NTR both of whom have worked with Rajamouli in the past will come together in RR to essay the role of Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem respectively.
However, the entire movie, events and hospitality industries came to a jarring standstill due to the threat of Novel Coronavirus, a deadly virus strain that is affecting the entire world. The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared Coronavirus as a pandemic. As the deadly virus reached Indian borders, the government has mobilised healthcare officials and infrastructure to combat the spread of the virus. The virus usually spreads visa droplets from mouth during coughing and sneezing, therefore gathering in a large group of people is a very high risk for everyone.
Rajamouli took to Twitter to share a precautionary message to his fans. In a post, Rajmouli was seen retweeting the WHO symptoms, precautionary measures and guidelines for the Coronavirus. He said “It’s shocking to see the world come to a standstill. However, in a scenario like this it’s imperative to avoid spreading panic. Follow the standard recommendations to prevent the spread of the #COVID19 infection and stay alert (sic.)”
