Rao Ramesh, the versatile actor slated to appear as a genie in Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara , has carved a distinct niche for himself in Telugu cinema with his impactful performances over the years. Son of legendary actor Rao Gopal Rao, Rao Ramesh initially faced a challenging journey but rose to prominence through sheer talent and dedication. His breakthrough came with Krish's 2008 film Gamyam , where he brilliantly portrayed a reformed Naxalite, earning critical acclaim and establishing him as a powerful character artist. This paved the way for a series of unforgettable roles that showcased his range, from the ferocious tantric Ghora in Magadheera (2009) to the astute ACP Raja Manikyam in Julayi (2012). Ramesh excels in roles with shades of grey, effortlessly shifting between comedy, villainy, and emotional depth. His portrayal of Samatha's father in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu was memorable. His portrayal of Pallam Venkanna in A Aa (2016) and the municipal chairman in Mukunda (2014) are prime examples of his ability to add gravitas and wit.
