Rakul Preet Singh will be seen next in an upcoming Tamil science fiction film, Ayalaan, paired opposite Sivakarthikeyan. The entire shoot of Ayalaan was wrapped up today as Rakul Preet Singh and Sivakarthikeyan completed shooting for their portions.
Rakul Preet Singh took to social media and shared a picture with Sivakarthikeyan and said he was the sweetest co star with whom she worked. Sivakarthikeyan replied to the picture and shared his happiness working with Rakul, and also thanked her for making him speak in English throughout the shoot. Speaking about his bond with Sivakarthikeyan on the sets of Ayalaan, Rakul said, “We had a pact — I’d speak in Tamil with him and he’d speak in English with me on the set. Sivakarthikeyan is very sweet as a co star. He was really kind in letting me know about places in Chennai, helping me get the food I want. He also helped me with my lines. Every time there was a complicated Tamil dialogue, he’d help me out. He keeps joking around on the set and makes the atmosphere very light (sic.)”

Ayalaan is touted to be a sci fi flick, which revolves around an alien that lands on Earth. The film is produced by 24 AM Studios and A.R. Rahman is scoring the music. The cinematography of the film is handled by Nirav Shah and editing by Ruben. Ayalaan also features Karunakaran, Yogi Babu, Isha Koppikar and Sharad Kelkar in supporting roles. Ayalaan, which has a huge amount of VFX involved, is expected to release during the Summer, 2021.
