Son of SS Rajamouli, SS Karthikeya was going to make his debut as a producer in a film titled Aakashavani which is said to be a period drama. But Karthikeya has opted out of the film, to work on his father’s upcoming film RRR. Last year, Karthikeya turned producer for director Ashwin Gangaraju’s project Aakashavani. While the movie is the final stage of completion, Karthikeya has already exited the project to focus more on the RRR.
To confirm this news, Karthikeya took to his twitter and wrote that, “Some journeys have to come to an unexpected end…Wishing the best to my friend, director @AshwinGangaraju and the entire team on the project. #Aakashavaani.”

In the post released by him, Karthikeya stated that it has been an interesting journey working as a producer in Aakashavani but due to the commitments as a line producer in the film RRR, he is finding it difficult to put a check on both the films, RRR and Aakashavani. Karthikeya has passed on the production business to A Padmanabha Reddy of AU&I Studious Pvt Ltd and further conveyed his best wishes to the director Ashwin and the crew of the film.

The producer has chosen to opt out of Aakashavani and will be focusing completely on magnum opus RRR with his father Rajamouli. In the interim, RRR is the biggest project of the film industry starring Ram charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn among many others.
