Max, the action thriller film directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa, was released recently. It stars Kiccha Sudeepa in titular role, alongside an ensemble cast of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sunil, Samyukta Hornad, Sukrutha Wagle and Anirudh Bhat.
On Monday, SS Rajamouli congratulated the film’s hero, writing that Sudeepa and the team of the movie deserve congratulations on their “blockbuster success”. He added, “Mass always prevails with your stardom. Haven’t had time to watch it yet, but I’ll be watching it soon.”

B Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music for the film. Shekar Chandra is the cinematographer, and SR Ganesh Baabu is the editor. The release date has not been announced yet.
Max has been liked by a section of the audience. “Max treads briskly and assuredly at a 132-minute runtime and dispenses some fun and thrills along the way,” wrote The Hollywood Reporter India in its review. The Hindu opined, “The core idea of Max might remind you of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Kaithi (2019). Max’s racy screenplay keeps you curious about the events on screen. A superb fusion of Chethan D Souza’s action choreography and Ajaneesh Lokanath’s ensures an adrenaline-pumping experience.”
