Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Pushpa is one highly anticipated movie by fans and critics alike. On the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday, a couple of first look posters were released by the filmmakers as kind of like a gift to Allu Arjun and fans. The title of the movie was revealed as well along with the first looks. Allu Arjun looks rustic and rugged with overgrown hair and an unkempt appearance and the first look got the fans talking and created a huge buzz.
However, recent speculations around the movie point towards the script being leaked in a surprising twist. According to these rumours, Pushpa is the name of the female lead character Rashmika Mandanna in the movie and the plot revolves around her. Moreover, Rashika Mandanna would be seen as an Indian Forest Service officer and Allu Arjun’s love interest in the movie. Allu Arjun would be killed by some goons and it is probable that Allu Arjun’s soul then impersonates a lorry driver who smuggles red sanders wood. There was talk earlier about Allu Arjun’s character in Pushpa being a grey shade. The filmmakers are however tightlipped and have not released any official statement regarding the leaked script.

The first schedule of shooting for Pushpa was completed and the next schedule will resume in a forest area after the national lockdown is lifted. Allu Arjun learnt Chittor slang under the guidance of linguistic experts in order to provide authenticity for this character in Pushpa.
Pushpa is being directed by Sukumar and will have Allu Arjun, Vijay Sethupathi, Rashmika Mandanna and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. Jagapathi Babu, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Vennela Kishore will be seen in supporting roles. Devi Sri Prasad would be composing the music while Mythri Film Makers will be bankrolling the movie. The film will be simultaneously released in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil languages.
