‘Pushpa 2’ is the fastest Indian film to cross one million ticket sales on Book My Show. The record sales on the ticket-booking platform comes three days ahead of the sequel’s release.
The record ticket bookings on BMS makes it the Numero Uno film on BMS. Even Kalki 2898 AD, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and K.G.F.: Chapter 2 are only after Pushpa: The Rule now.
Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Pune have seen the maximum contribution towards the record.
The film’s benefit shows/premieres will be held in multiple theatres domestically on the night of December 4. Icon Star Allu Arjun has sincerely thanked the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for passing GOs allowing ticket rate hikes. “I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Government of Andhra Pradesh for approving the ticket hike. This progressive decision demonstrates your steadfast commitment to the growth and prosperity of the Telugu film industry,” the actor wrote, specially thanking AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.
