Producer S Naga Vamsi is a self-confessed Tarak fan, something he has iterated many times in the past. From being just another fan to distributing his favourite actor’s biggest movie, ‘Devara’, Naga Vamsi has come a long way.
In a recent interview, the Sithara Entertainments supremo reminisced about the day he became a Jr NTR fan for life. “It was the release date (28 March 2002) of ‘Aadi’. I didn’t know about its release. I saw a poster and decided to walk into Gokul Theatre in Hyderabad. I had no friends to accompany me that day. I remember the experience well,” the producer said in a recent interview.
After becoming a producer, Naga Vamsi has had the privilege of watching Tarak from close quarters. It was his ‘babai’ who produced ‘Aravindha Sametha’. Naga Vamsi admires the quality of being no-nonsense and frank from his favourite motive idol.
Even after years of knowing him personally, Naga Vamsi sees himself first as a Tarak fan. “I am always a fan first,” he suggests.
‘Lucky Baskhar‘ is Naga Vamsi’s upcoming theatrical release. To be released on October 31, it stars Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary as an estranged married couple.
