The Teaser of L2: Empuraan (Malayalam) was unveiled recently. The film is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, Prabhas’ Salaar co-star.
The Kalki 2898 AD actor has endorsed the Teaser while wishing the team behind the film all the best. He also praised the legendary actor Mohanlal, the hero of the film. “Take a look at the absolutely world class teaser of L2: Empuraan. Stunningly shot! Directed by my own Varadha.. Starring the one and only Mohanlal Sir,” Prabhas wrote in his Instagram story.

The second installment of Lucifer (Malayalam) will be released in theatres on March 27, 2025.
The film is produced by Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas. Both Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran reunited for the first time since 2019 for this movie. The sequel’s principal photography began in October 2023 in Faridabad. It was shot in Shimla, Leh, the United Kingdom, United States, Chennai, Kerala, Gujarat and Hyderabad.
Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier and Indrajith Sukumaran will be seen in other pivotal roles in L2. Cinematographer Sujith Vaassudev, Editor Akhilesh Mohan, and Music Director Deepak Dev are associated with the project as behind-the-screens talents.
