In an unexpected announcement today, Hombale Films stated that it has a three-film deal with the pan-Indian action superstar, Prabhas. ‘Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam’ will be the first of the three projects. The sequel to ‘Salaar’ will hit the screens in 2026.
The other two films will be released in 2027 and 2028.
‘Salaar 2‘ will be helmed by Prashanth Neel. A lead up to this film was given in the first installment itself. The first part, which was released in December 2023, was a commercial hit. The second part is yet to go on the floors.
Producer Vijay Kiragandur must have firmed up the directors for the films to be released after ‘Salaar 2’. Nothing has been given away as of now. The announcement today came with a catchprahse: 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭!
