Yesterday, the makers of the Project K film officially announced the onboarding of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan. This superstar is now going to share the screen with other cast members of Project K including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani. This has been a surprise announcement to the audiences who have been waiting for an update about the film, Project K. The makers have released a small video on social media welcoming him onboard.
With this update, the actors in the film, Prabhas and Amitabh, have shared a few words about Kamal Haasan. Amitabh Bachchan welcomed him by saying that it would be great to work with Kamal again. The lead actor, Prabhas, also shared that this moment will be forever in his heart and that he is honoured to work with a great actor like Kamal for Project K. He added that he will take this opportunity to learn and grow with the titan of cinema. Along with them, the director of the film, Nag Ashwin, said that it is a huge honour for them that Kamal is attempting a new role for his film, Project K.

The Project K team is super excited about the superstar being in their film. Kamal Haasan recalled that he is collaborating with prestigious producers like Aswani Dutt after 50 years in the industry. He is happy to work with young actors like Prabhas and Deepika. Kamal added that even though he has worked with Amitabh before in Geraftaar, it feels like the first time now. He applauds the vision of Nag Ashwin.
Project K is a Telugu science fiction action film that Aswani Dutt and Swapna Dutt are producing under Vyjayanthi Movies. This film is likely to be released in 2024, as said by the makers.
