Divyendu Sharma of Pyaar Ka Punchnama (Hindi) fame was catapulted to the next level by the drama series Mirzapur. As is known, he is playing a crucial role in Global Star Ram Charan’s 16th movie. He shares screen space with the Mega Power Star in the crazy pan-Indian movie. He turned a year older today and the team behind the big-ticket extravaganza wished him a great year ahead.
Vriddhi Cinemas described Divyendu as a “supremely talented” artist. Ram Bujji is his character’s name in the 2026 release. “It will be one the most interesting characters from the raw and rustic world of Peddi,” the makers stated. Director Buchi Babu Sana has etched a nuanced role for him.

This week, a spectacular action episode has been shot on a set in Hyderabad. “We are undertaking the sequence in a specially erected mammoth train set! This high-octane stunt is choreographed by Navakanth master,” Vriddhi Cinemas stated on Wednesday, adding that the sequence will be one of the “most audacious sequences ever attempted in Indian cinema”. Ram Charan‘s screen presence in the song will be outstanding.
The period film, starring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, has AR Rahman composing the music. Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma have also been roped in for major roles. Peddi hits the screens on March 27th, 2026.
