Actress Payal Rajput, who played the lead role in the 2023 hit film Mangalavaaram, has expressed her excitement for the upcoming sequel. The sequel is yet to be announced.
In a recent tweet, the RX 100 actress shared her enthusiasm for Mangalavaaram 2 and praised director Ajay Bhupathi, stating, “As a huge fan of director Ajay Bhupathi, I’m thrilled to witness another masterpiece. The legacy must continue!”

Swathi Reddy Gunupati and Suresh Varma produced Mangalavaaram under the banner of Mudra Media Works. B Ajaneesh Loknath of Kantara fame composed the music. The movie also starred Sritej, Chaitanya Krishna, Ajay Ghosh, Laxman and Nandita Swetha. Payal’s character got introduced in the interval. Since the film received critical acclaim, Ajay Bhupathi has been serious about commissioning a sequel.
Payal has acted in movies such as Venky Mama, RDX Love, Disco Raja, Anaganaga O Athidhi, Tees Maar Khan, Ginna, Maya Petika and Rakshana.
