Legendary playback singer and Guinness World Record holder for recording the highest number of songs, P. Susheela, recently met the press in Hyderabad and blessed the newly elected Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The ‘Melody Queen’ mentioned, it was Jagan’s father, the late Andhra Pradesh CM, Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, who inaugurated her P. Susheela Trust in 2008. She started the trust to provide financial assistance to needy musicians, who had to fend for themselves without any support from the film industry.
Smt. P. Susheela hoped the current CM too follows his father’s footsteps in contributing to the P. Susheela Trust munificently. She added, Jagan would continue the great rule of his late father and blessed him.
