The story of Kanguva unfolds in a non-linear fashion in two different timelines. Francis (Suriya) is a shadow cop in Goa. When he accidentally runs into a boy who has been victimized by a devious experiment, a connection to 1070 AD unfolds. Kanguva (also played by Suriya) was at the centre of a feud between the powerful Kapaala Kona clan, led by the ruthless Rudhira (Bobby Deol), and the Pranavadi Kona clan. A young child, Pulova, is caught in the crossfire of this deadly conflict.

Suriya44: This is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. It stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead. It completed its shoot recently.
Suriya45: This is directed by RJ Balaji. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, it went on the floors recently.
