Jr NTR’s movie with KGF fame Prashanth Neel was announced last year. The pan-Indian movie will be the most immediate movie headlined by Tarak after the release of his ongoing project, War 2.
There is no truth to the speculation that the NTR-Neel project has gone on the floors without any formal update by the makers. The Salaar maker and Mythri Movie Makers plan to start the shoot soon, probably sometime in February.
The film, which will hit the screens on January 9th next year (2026), is a high-octane, slick action drama. With its reference to 1969, the film’s announcement poster last year alluded to the periodic nature, while the mappings showed China, Bhutan, and other locations.
When the movie was launched last year, on social media, inquisitive Netizens debated the likelihood that Khun Sa, a prominent Chinese drug dealer, would be a pivotal character. Khun Sa, also known as the Drug Lord of the Golden Triangle, was armed with military gear, received training from the Kuomintang and the Burmese Army, and participated in numerous operations within the region. There has been a lot more debate after a few of enthusiasts speculated online that NTRNeel might be a part of Khun Sa’s story.
