Minister Prakash Javedhkar announced that the famous iconic show ‘Ramayana‘ would be telecast on DD channel daily in the morning and night. This show was a huge delight during the 90’s to all the children and families.
Looks like Sita actress Kajal Aggarwal is leaving no moment to enjoy this nostalgia show. The actress took to Twitter to share her excitement about the show and revealed that, “Taking me back to childhood. #Ramayan and #Mahabharat on @DDNational with the entire family! This was our routine weekend plan. so glad it’s restarted, a great way for kids to learn Indian Mythology.”

Shows like Ramayana and Mahabharat were a vast memory to all the children back then as most of the Sundays, families spent time watching these shows together. With this show making a comeback in this difficult crisis, it surely will be cherished by everyone.
Ramayana and Mahabharata’s first episode were broadcasted in the 80’s on Doordarshan Channel. Ramayana was directed by Ramanand Sagar and Mahabharta was directed by B R Chopra.
