Tollywood is currently undergoing a tectonic shift and smaller films with good content are giving a run for the star studded movies. Nithya Menen, Satyadev and Rahul Ramakrishna are few actors who were pioneers in this shift with their individual efforts like Malli Modalaindi, Uma Maheswara Ugraroopasya and Pelli Choopulu. The trio are joining hands for the upcoming movie Skylab.
Skylab was announced a few months ago and the glimpses caused intrigue among the audiences with its quirky tale. The character introductions and their shenanigans in the trailer promise a hilarious ride at the cinemas. Nithya Menen and team have ramped up the promotions and the recently held pre release event was a massive success. In the latest, with only three days away from theatrical release, the makers have unveiled a release teaser. This teaser manages to tickle our funny bones while still holding the suspense of Skylab. Skylab is a fictional tale set in the village Bandilingampally in the year 1976 when NASA’s international space station disintegrated and fell onto earth. Skylab is directed by Vishvak Khanderao and stars Nithya Menen, Satyadev and Rahul Ramakrishna in the lead roles. Tanikella Bharani, Tulasi, Vishnu and Anusha will be seen in supporting roles. Prashanth R Vihari is composing tunes for the movie. Skylab is being produced under the banners Byte Features and Nithya Menen Company. On the other hand, Nithya Menen is currently working on Bheemla Nayak opposite Powerstar Pawan Kalyan.
