According to reports which came out earlier, Nithiin’s next film after Bheeshma would be a remake of the critically acclaimed Bollywood movie Andhadhun. Merlapaka Gandhi will direct this untitled Telugu remake. Merlapaka Gandhi earlier directed movies like Venkatadri Express (2013,) Express Raja (2016,) and Krishnarjuna Yudham (2018.)
The Telugu remake rights for Andhadhun were purchased by Nithiin’s father, and his production company Sreshth Movies officially launched the Telugu remake. This movie will mark the sixth production venture for Sreshth Movies which earlier produced projects like Ishq and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe.
The first clap was done by Shyam Prasad Reddy and cameras were switched on by producer Dil Raju while director Surender Reddy filmed the first shot. The shooting for this untitled movie will begin from June, 2020.

Nithiin was last seen in Bheeshma alongside Rashmika Mandanna, a movie which was released on February 21st, 2020. Bheeshma was directed by Venky Kudumula and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner.
