Sreeleela is making her Tamil debut with Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead. She plays a Telugu girl in the Tamil version. In the Telugu version, she plays a Tamil girl. The film’s Title Teaser was unveiled yesterday and ever since, a particular shot featuring the star heroine has gone viral on social media.
Netizens are going gaga over Sreeleela‘s retro appearance in the role. Since the film is a period action drama, director Sudha Kongara is presenting the actress in a retro get-up. This suits her perfectly.

Sreeleela is so youngish and bubbly that college girl roles suit her the best. Although she was seen as one in Ram Pothineni’s Skanda, she was the daughter of a Chief Minister in that action entertainer and that made her unrelatable. In Parasakthi, it seems Sreeleela is playing an affluent girl who has those girl-next-door vibes.
