Actor Siddharth has been seen as a responsible actor by many. He didn’t capitalize on his fame to act in regular commercial roles.
The Bommarillu actor was recently in Hyderabad to attend a literary festival. On the occasion, he participated in a chit-chat. During the course of the discussion, Siddharth commented that he turned down many film offers only because the nature of their scripts was not acceptable to him. They needed the hero to do all sorts of problematic things with the female lead, including touching the navel inappropriately and even getting abusive by slapping her around.
Siddharth suggested that he would have been a bigger star had he accepted those regular characters that the masses are known to prefer.
The actor has done responsible movies like Chiththa. He played a lead role in Shankar’s Indian 2, which hit the screens in 2024.
The actor has been married to actress Aditi Rao Hydari. Last year, before their wedding, they disclosed that they developed a fascination with one another while working on the film Maha Samudram.
