The audience have been seeking clarity about Nani’s future line-up after HIT 3 and The Paradise. And the answer is here.
Speaking to Pinkvilla, the Natural Star confirmed that his union with OG director Sujeeth is a done deal. The untitled movie will commence its shoot in mid-2026, most likely.
The actor said that he has been in talks with Cibi Chakravarthi and Karthik Subbaraj, both from Kollywood. The talks may or may not lead to fruition; the result of the talks depends on the stories the two directors pitch to Nani. Cibi is known for Don, while Jigarthanda director Karthik has directed big names like Rajinikanth (Petta).
Speaking to The Hindu in another interview, Nani said that he would like to do soft films after HIT 3, The Paradise and Sujeeth’s movie. He is game for his kind of cinema – be it Ante Sundaraniki or Hi Nanna.
HIT 3 is Nani’s next theatrical release. May 1st is when the crime thriller hits the screens. Srinidhi Shetty and Rao Ramesh also feature in this Sailesh Kolanu directorial. The film is produced by Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous Productions. Mickey J Meyer (music director), Sanu John Varghese (cinematography), Karthika Srinivas R (editing), and Sri Nagendra Tangala (production design) have worked on Nani‘s movie.
