The pre-release event of Daaku Maharaaj will be held in Anantapur on January 9. Nara Lokesh, the Minister of Human Resources Development, Andhra Pradesh, will be gracing the occasion as the chief guest.

A Trailer launch event was held recently in Dallas, the US. Speaking on the occasion, Nandamuri Balakrishna spoke of the success of his recent movies like Akhanda, Bhagavanth Kesari and Veera Simha Reddy. He suggested that the character Daaku is inspired by a particular scene in Aditya 369. “I am determined to make movies that convey a message,” he added.
