Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, the great grandson of late thespian NTR and son of the late Nandamuri Janaki Ram, will be making his acting debut in a film to be directed by YVS Chowdary, who has previously introduced Ram Pothineni and Sai Dharam Tej. The filmmaker is now geared up to introduce Taraka Ramarao in a big-scale movie, whose Grand Muhurtham event was held at the NTR Memorial in Hyderabad.
The project was announced in August last year. Today (May 12th), it was launched in the presence of the film’s core team. The list of guests included Nara Bhuvaneswari, Garapati Lokeswari (the hero’s maternal grandmother), Daggubati Purandeswari, Nandamuri Mohana Krishna, Suhasini (the hero’s aunt), and others.

Speaking on the occasion, the hero said that he has the blessings of his extended family to make the acting debut. He thanked YVS, his first director. “I will always be indebted to the Nandamuri fans,” the debutant added. Veenah Rao, a professional Kuchipudi dancer, is the female lead of the yet-to-be-titled movie.
Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, extended his wishes. “Warm wishes to Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, son of late Shri Janakiram Garu, as he marks his entry into cinema. Wishing him great success as the first look of his debut film is unveiled today,” he wrote.
Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani is on board for the musical part, while sought-after dialogue writer Sai Madhav Burra is also working. The film is produced by YVS himself on New Talent Roars@.
