Speaking at the Thandel Love Tsunami Celebrations on Tuesday, Akkineni Nagarjuna stated that he was reminded of his father, ANR, while watching Naga Chaitanya in some scenes.
“It feels happy to be attending a success meet after a long time. On the day Thandel hit the screens, my family members and I were in New Delhi to meet with PM Modi garu. Since we had no access to smartphones, I didn’t know how Thandel was being received until I came out of the venue and switched on my mobile. I received a series of calls that told me the reception was great. Allu Aravind garu has given three hits to my sons: 100% Love, Most Eligible Bachelor, and now Thandel. I thank him for that. I often wonder how Bunny Vas convinces others with the kind of subjects he chooses to commission. Even though I haven’t worked with Chandoo Mondeti, I like him. He has extracted the best from Chaitu in Thandel. I thoroughly enjoyed the hero elevation in the climax. That episode is the soul of the film,” Nagarjuna said.
