Custody is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen. Krithi Shetty is the lead actress in the film. The film also has a huge star cast, including Priyamani, Arvind Swamy and Sarathkumar. Both Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music for the film.
