Contrary to the speculative rumours doing the rounds about the health of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s mother, Anjana Devi, she is doing absolutely fine. In an update via social media, Naga Babu described the reports as “inaccurate”. He wrote that his mother’s health is alright.
“Amma arogyam chala bagundi. There is some inaccurate information being circulated. However, she is absolutely fine,” Naga Babu mentioned in a brief post.

On the occasion of Women’s Day, in March this year, Chiranjeevi and Naga Babu were interviewed alongside their mother Anjanamma, and their beloved sisters, Vijaya Durga and Madhavi. “Our mother lost three other children either due to miscarriage or when the kids were hardly one or two years old. When I was in 6th Standard, we had a sister. At that time, my father used to go to camps often for work. Thus, Amma alone used to take care of us a lot, Chiranjeevi said in the interview. Madhavi spoke about her mother’s support when she was depressed. “When I was in a depressed phase and separated from everyone, it was Amma who assured me that she was there for me no matter what. That support gave me a lot of confidence. We are not as strong and are more sensitive toward our children, but she is very strong,” she said in the interview.
