Rebel Star Prabhas as Bhairava, Deepika Padukone as Sumati, Amitabh Bachchan as Aswatthama, and Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin, the movie Kalki 2898 AD has been minting money at the box office, ever since its homogenous release on June 27.
Director Nag Ashwin, who is thoroughly enjoying the monumental success, has revealed his top-2 favorite scenes from Kalki 2898 AD. Ashwin expressed his admiration for one of the sequences involving Deepika, stating that it was difficult to shoot in terms of both technique and performance.
For Nag Ashwin, the sequence in Kalki 2898 AD where Deepika Padukone’s character Sumathi must escape Complex’s hands via a dangerous fire tunnel is one of the most memorable.
According to Nag Ashwin, his second favorite scene is the final conflict between the strongest bounty hunter Bhairava (Prabhas), and the eternal warrior Ashwatthama (Amitabh Bachchan).
The filmmaker thought the two sequences above were iconic, but he also liked the engaging portions involving Prabhas.
