Mufasa- The Lion King is a storyline developed by the Hollywood production team that is intended to be both a prequel and a sequel to the hugely popular film The Lion King. Superstar Mahesh Babu, who joined the team to provide the Telugu voice of everyone’s favorite character, Mufasa, shared his excitement on social media. Earlier today, the makers unveiled the theatrical trailer of Mufasa The Lion King in Telugu, with Mahesh’s intense voiceover. Without a doubt, Mahesh Babu’s vocal collaboration to the character has energized the movie lovers as well as his vast fandom.
Mahesh Babu, on his X, wrote, “A new dimension to the character we know and love! Extremely excited to be the voice of Mufasa in Telugu and having been a massive fan of the classic, this is a special one for me! Long live the king”.

Barry Jenkins is the director of the film MUFASA- THE LION KING, which will also have the voices of Tollywood’s famous comedians Brahmanandam and Ali as Timon and Pumbaa, respectively.
Mufasa: The Lion King, which will be available in Telugu, will be released globally on December 20th.
